Stomachaches

Based on excerpts from Baby Basics: the essential guide for new parents from JOHNSON'S®.

When your baby is experiencing a stomachache, he might be too young to tell you with words, but you may get the feeling that he doesn't seem "right". You might notice some distention or swelling in his abdomen, or you may notice him pulling his legs up towards his belly.

Stomachaches are common in infants and toddlers and are typically not cause for alarm. Often times, they're caused by mild gas (although there's always the chance that it could be something more serious). Talk to your pediatrician to learn more about what might be causing your child's discomfort.
